Mona Liza Santos
In the Media

I still find it a little surreal when someone wants to tell my story. What began quietly at home between my son and me has grown into books, interviews, features, awards, community work, and opportunities I never imagined when I first started writing.
Over the years, my work has been recognized across publishing, entrepreneurship, media, and the Filipino community. I am grateful to be a 2026 TOFA Awardee, a TITAN Gold Winner for Outstanding Female Entrepreneur, and a five-time Finalist in the 2026 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, along with other recognitions connected to my books and work.
But I never want this page to feel like a wall of accomplishments. Every interview, feature, and article represents someone who believed my story, my work, or the message behind it was worth sharing. That means a lot to me because everything started with one mother writing a simple story for her child.
The recognition reminds me how far something very small can travel when it comes from a meaningful place. The books came first, and everything else followed little by little.
Below are some of the magazine articles, interviews, and media features I have been honored to be included in over the years. Each one captures a different part of my journey, from children’s publishing and emotional literacy to kindness, cultural identity, entrepreneurship, motherhood, and the unexpected path that brought me here.
This page is not only about press. For me, it is also a record of how much can grow from one small beginning and a reminder to stay grateful for every person, publication, and opportunity that has helped share the story along the way.
